What we are called about most
- E24 or E25 — dishwasher will not drain
- Water stands in the sump and the cycle stalls. E24 points at a restriction downstream, commonly a blocked filter, a kinked hose or a disposal air gap. E25 points at the pump itself, usually glass or a fruit stone jamming the impeller.
- E15 — leak protection tripped
- Water has reached the base pan and the float switch has cut the machine off, so it drains and refuses to fill. The leak is normally the sump gasket, a split hose or a failed door seal. Draining the pan without finding the source only buys a day or two.
- Dishwasher will not start or latch
- The door interlock has to confirm closure before anything runs. A worn latch, a dropped door or a broken handle switch leaves the machine dead with a lit panel, which owners often read as a control board failure when it is not.

- Usually the circulation pump or the diverter valve that alternates flow between the arms. When the diverter sticks, one rack cleans well and the other does not, which is a distinctive symptom and a reliable pointer.
