Bosch Appliance Repair in Orange County

Bosch dishwashers are the single most common Bosch appliance we are called to in Orange County, and their fault codes make the diagnosis unusually direct. We also cover the wall ovens, induction cooktops, refrigeration and the compact laundry pairs that suit condos and converted service porches around the county.

What Bosch builds

Bosch is the quiet, tightly engineered end of the market, and dishwashers are what it is known for: a condensation dry cycle, no exposed heating element in the tub, and a leak-protection system that shuts the machine down rather than letting water reach the floor. The 300, 500 and 800 Series and the Benchmark line cover most of what we see. Wall ovens, induction cooktops, refrigeration and compact 24-inch laundry complete the range.

What we are called about most

E24 or E25 — dishwasher will not drain
Water stands in the sump and the cycle stalls. E24 points at a restriction downstream, commonly a blocked filter, a kinked hose or a disposal air gap. E25 points at the pump itself, usually glass or a fruit stone jamming the impeller.
E15 — leak protection tripped
Water has reached the base pan and the float switch has cut the machine off, so it drains and refuses to fill. The leak is normally the sump gasket, a split hose or a failed door seal. Draining the pan without finding the source only buys a day or two.
Dishwasher will not start or latch
The door interlock has to confirm closure before anything runs. A worn latch, a dropped door or a broken handle switch leaves the machine dead with a lit panel, which owners often read as a control board failure when it is not.
Poor wash despite a clean filter
Usually the circulation pump or the diverter valve that alternates flow between the arms. When the diverter sticks, one rack cleans well and the other does not, which is a distinctive symptom and a reliable pointer.
Compact washer stops with a drain fault
The 24-inch laundry pairs use a small drain pump behind a filter trap that owners rarely know is there. Lint, coins and hair clog it steadily, and the machine stops mid-cycle with the door locked until the trap is cleared.

What people say

5 from 1,510 reviews

  • The fan ran and the light came on but our Garden Grove kitchen microwave heated nothing. The high-voltage transformer had failed. He replaced it, cleaned the grease filters, and checked the vent damper moved freely.

  • Microwave in a Lake Forest tract kitchen went dark and dead. A door switch had failed and taken the fuse with it. He replaced the switch set and fuse, then tested every interlock before closing up.

    Danika L.Lake Forest★★★★★

  • Dryer squealed loudly and then started thumping. Drum rollers were worn flat and the belt was fraying. All replaced in one visit, and he checked the idler pulley too. It runs quietly again.

Bosch questions

What does E15 mean on a Bosch dishwasher?

It means water has collected in the base pan and the leak-protection float has cut the machine off. The machine is working as designed. The repair is finding the leak — usually the sump gasket, a split hose or the door seal — not resetting the code.

Can I clear a Bosch drain fault myself?

Sometimes. Clearing the filter basket and checking the drain hose for kinks resolves a fair number of E24 faults. If the code returns immediately, the obstruction is inside the pump housing, and that needs the pump opening rather than another cycle.

Why is my Bosch dishwasher leaving dishes wet?

These machines dry by condensation against the stainless tub rather than with a heating element, so results depend on rinse aid and on unloading the bottom rack first. Plastics stay wettest. If everything is soaked, we check the heater and the vent flap.

What does a Bosch service visit cost?

A flat $89 service call buys the visit and the diagnosis, and comes straight back off the bill if you go ahead with the work. Bosch fault codes usually shorten the diagnosis, but the fee does not move with it. Parts and labour are priced separately and agreed first.

Have the Bosch model number to hand

The model and serial plate tells us which platform the machine is on, which decides what the fault is likely to be and whether the part is still made.
